We specialize in puppies with calm temperaments suitable for Service Work, Therapy Work and the family home. We do not work with high drive dogs.
Our dogs are chosen based on 3 criteria. Health, Conformation, and Temperament. We will not choose a dog that doesn’t possess all 3 of those traits no matter how great the other traits are.
Our goal is always to breed the best dogs we can and match people with the right personality pup for their lifestyle.
Lewis is a nice sized male who looks bigger due to his thick long black & red coat. His black mask is striking and although he looks like a force to be reckoned with he’s a happy-go-lucky dog who does well meeting new people and other dogs.
He’s the kind of pup that can welcome company into your home but would protect if need be which is the perfect personality for a German Shepherd - one that can read the room and tell the difference between a good stranger and a bad one.
Lewis loves to run and play but can calm down when it’s time. He’s happy, eager to please and has it all in terms of health, temperament and conformation.

Zandra is the daughter of our Lewis and Izzy. She got the best of both her parents and we’re proud to have her join our breeding program. From Lewis, she inherited his striking black and red coat and his happy go-lucky attitude along with his ability to discern between friendly and threatening situations. That last one is an important trait for a German Shepherd and sadly many lack that ability.
From her mother Izzy, Zandra inherited her petite frame and feminine face. She also has Izzy's happy disposition, light-footedness and affectionate nature.
We are incredibly excited about Zandra carrying on the bloodlines and temperaments of both Lewis and Izzy, as she represents their finest qualities. Zandra is a great source of pride for us because she’s a reminder of why we do this.

Anuk has an affectionate solid black coat with a calm demeanor for a Working Line female which is what we look for in our parent dogs. She’s a girl who prefers to stick by your side rather than run with the other dogs. Her kisses are pure love and she’s ready to give them at all times.
Those who know me best are aware that I normally prefer West German Show Line dogs because of their calmer temperament, but Anuk has really surprised me and I’m proud to have her join our program.

Zoria has a graceful gait and everyone always seems to love her. She’s nurturing to the people she loves and watches over her pack even though she’s not an alpha. She’s agile when she needs to be but is just as happy relaxing with a bone. Zoria’s a prime example of an easy-going gal.

Skylar is a breathtaking long coat black & red female. She’s a happy-go-lucky girl who always makes everyone smile. She’s got a good amount of energy but isn’t high drive.
Skylar is affectionate and social. She loves people, other dogs and small animals. One of the great things about Skylar is her focus. When she’s given a command she sticks to it. She picks things up very quickly and her focus and love for people results in pups that make excellent service dog candidates for higher level needs.
Skylar is ready to go when you are but at the end of the day, her favorite thing is snuggling up with you. Her coat is incredibly soft so she makes the perfect snuggle buddy.

Uta is a bundle of love. She consistently comes to me while I’m working and wants a moment of attention. She’ll lift a paw to let me know she’d like me to take a break to pet her. Once she’s had that she’s good to go until her next pet break. She’s highly intelligent and has learned how to get her favorite thing - belly rubs - by walking into my path and dropping to her back wagging her tail and loving every minute of it. She gets me every time, how could anyone say no to that?
Uta is a medium sized female with a beautiful black mask on her feminine face. Her looks match her sweet demeanor and we couldn’t love her more.

Isabel is large boned, short coat, black & red female with a gentle presence. She’s kind hearted, calm and loving with a thoughtful expression.
She’s loyal to her loved ones and has a maternal instinct. Isabel seems to watch over everyone the way a mother would. She’s full of love yet ready to protect.
Isabel has a graceful gait that reminds me of our Tara’s. Even with her large frame she moves with elegance. Above all, her favorite thing to do is sit on your lap. I shouldn’t be surprised, it seems like the big ones are always the lap dogs!

She’s a smaller framed female with a breathtaking long red & black coat. Her red is a sweet gingery-blonde that’s absolutely stunning. It’s hard not to have a smile on your face when you see her since she radiates happiness.

Yoshi is a magnificent male with a long solid black coat. He’s an exceptional boy with a love for hiking the trails. He’s adventurous and curious, but has a confident stature that’s always on guard - he’s truly a well rounded dog. Getting outside not only keeps him physically fit but also mentally stimulated. He’s quick to pick up on new things and his pups are good candidates for higher levels of service work.
Despite being a large male, Yoshi is surprisingly gentle and at home, acts as a guardian, always alert and watchful. His favorite spot is at your feet and he seems alert even when he sleeps. Yoshi impresses me over and over again because he’s truly a dog to be proud of.

Ada’s an alpha female and heads the pack well. She’s a natural at redirecting her pack mates and does so with confidence and kindness. She likes to work daily but doesn’t act out if she isn’t able to go. Ada is the ultimate package.

Tara is a large female that has one of the most graceful gait I’ve ever seen. I’m always surprised at how feminine her movements appear even with her big paws and large frame. She’s the kind of girl who wants to stick right by your side. When she’s excited she spins circles with agility that’s surprising considering her size.
She has sweet disposition and way about her that feels like she has a higher level of understanding and compassion. Her eyes speak volumes and allude to her nurturing nature. Tara’s gentle presence should not be mistaken for weakness, she would whole-heartedly stand up for her loved ones.

Bogey is one of our very own pups, 3rd Generation - the son of Ada & Winston and grandson of Nero & Godiva. He’s a nice sized male with a striking sable coat who’s primary characteristics are loyalty and protectiveness over his family.
You don’t often find a well-bred sable that isn’t a full working line dog. Working lines tend to have high drive and require a higher level of training. Bogey’s mother, Ada, has a lower drive for a working line and his father, Winston is a Show Line. So Bogey got the best of both worlds. He got the sable coat from his mother and nice bone structure and drive level of his father. We’re incredibly proud of Bogey.

We’re very happy with our Yogi. His calm temperament and outgoing personality wins people over every time. He’s confident as he watches over his loved ones, always alert even during play. He’s an all-around great example of a German Shepherd in terms of temperament, health and conformation.
A solid black German Shepherd that has good health and temperament are not easy to find. Well-bred blacks are usually Working Lines so they tend to have high drive. Gus is our largest male by a long shot and boy does he make me smile. His main concern is snuggling and he’ll go to great lengths to cram himself into a small space if it means being next to someone he loves. Most German Shepherds aren’t huge snugglers. They’ll often snuggle for a bit then go off to have their own space. Not Gus, he would literally let you spoon him all night which is fine only if you have a big bed.
Gus is a very large male. Often males of this size are overweight or don’t have good proportion but he’s very well proportioned and the body mass indicator shows he’s an excellent weight for his height. His coat is a rich red with black saddle. People can’t help but notice Gus as he walks by - he stands out in a crowd.
